TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Responsibilities
Jayco Travel and Tours. (known as Jayco TT), (its owners, associates, agents
and employees) assumes no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to person or
property in connection with any service resulting directly or indirectly from
acts of nature, impediment, terrorism, traffic accidents, assault, injury cause
by third parties, delays and expenses arising from quarantine,
strikes, thefts, larceny, failure of any means of transportation to arrive or
depart as scheduled, civil disturbance, government restrictions or regulation.
Jayco TT assumes no responsibility for discrepancies or change in transit or
hotel services over which it has no control.
Local or International Airlines
Jayco TT is not responsible for loss of life, personal injury, cancellations,
delays, overbooking, loss or damage of baggage and/or loss of services as a
result of the same caused by any domestic flights within Costa Rica or
international flights.
Price Adjustments and Commitments
Jayco TT reserves the right to adjust the U.S. dollar prices without notice,
to reflect inflation or market adjustments until such time that a deposit has
been accepted by Jayco TT. By offering an advance deposit to Jayco TT or any of its agents, the depositor agrees to be bound by the General
Terms and Conditions outlined here.
Tour Safety
Jayco TT reserves the right to withdraw a transportation service or tour or
any part of it, to make such alterations in the itinerary as it considers
necessary or prudent for the comfort or safety of all participants and to pass
on to tour members any expenditure or losses caused by delays or events beyond
its control.
Medical Conditions
Guests with existing medical conditions should make them known to Jayco TT,
well before their arrival to Costa Rica. At times, guests will be in some of the
most remote places in Costa Rica. Under certain circumstances, medical
evacuation could be delayed, difficult, expensive or impossible. Guests should
take special care to ensure they are medically able to make the trip. While on
the trip, if a guest feels sick, they should tell Jayco TT so a medical
evacuation or other appropriate actions can be initiated. Jayco TT assumes
no liability for costs of medical evacuation or provision of medical care. Tour
participants should contact their doctor prior to tour departure to determine if
a tour is appropriate given their health or if the participant should refrain
from any activities associated with a tour.
Canceled Tours or Transportation
Jayco TT reserves the right to cancel any trip due to insufficient
sign-ups. In the event of such a cancellation, those with reservations shall be
notified as soon as possible and a full refund of payments and deposits on land
costs will be given.
Jayco TT and participating agents are not responsible for any expenses
incurred for non-refundable air tickets, equipment, medical costs, etc.
Guests Conduct
Jayco TT and its designated representatives reserve the right to disqualify
any person as member of any transfer, trip or tour, should such personas actions
or general behavior interfere with the transfer, trip or tour or risk the
rights, welfare or enjoyment of other members of the trip. Refunds are usually
not given under these circumstances. In such extraordinary instances when
a refund is granted, it is agreed that a refund based on the actual cost of the
unused land services is the limit of Jayco TT's responsibility.
Payment and Cancellation policy
Prepayment of the total transportation service, tour or trip cost is
required to guarantee your reservation upon acceptance of proposal.
Cancellation Policy
TOURS
A refund minus hotel deposits, transportation cancellations
fees, and a handling fee of
$75 per traveler will be made on cancellations 30 days or more prior to the
scheduled trip. In case of cancellation received in our office from 30 to 15
days prior to the trip, a 50% refund will be made. There will be no refund for cancellations made 14 or fewer
days prior to the trip. We recommend you buy cancellation insurance.
TRANSPORTATION
Your payment minus a 5% will be
refunded, if you cancel at least 10 days prior to arrival for high season or
7 days for low season (Peak Season:
Dec 20 to January 5/High Season:
Nov 15 to May 15 and July 1 to August 30th)
Now Shows or Late Cancellations
In the event of No Show or later
cancellation, your reservations will not be
refunded
Changes
Changes to your
reservation within 7 days of your arrival may incur on additional
fees.
We recommend you buy
cancellation insurance.
